NHS
The practice is still happy to see NHS patients who are exempt from payments for whatever reason. E.g. children under eighteen, and under nineteen in full time education, expectant and nursing mothers. Normal exemption or other grounds e.g. job seekers, income support etc are also cater for.
We will do our best to arrange that anyone with an income can budget for treatment and those without we will continue to treat free anyway.( subject to NHS constraints).
I must point out that NHS registration with any dentist has ceased and it is more important than ever to attend at the recommended intervals to ensure continuity .
Private Or Independent
This means simply paying for your treatment on a fee per item basis. This will usually work out at a very similar level of cost to becoming a member of Denplan in the long term
The big advantage of the Denplan programme is that included in this cost is the provision of the accident and emergency treatment in the package which makes it exceptional value. E.g. -if you fell and broke all your teeth at the front then this could involve thousands of pounds worth of treatment which would all be paid for by Denplan
We would recommend this for the majority of patients. Please talk to your dentist at examination who will advise what is most appropriate for your needs.
